You can use coconut oil because of its pleasant taste and numerous health benefits, its high in lauric acid which helps in reducing inflammation and the reduction of bacteria. Studies have shown that rolling around the sesame oil in your mouth daily can greatly reduce streptococcus mutans which is one of the primary types of bacteria in the mouth that causes plaques and gingivitis in as little as one week. To oil pull, pour the coconut oil into a tablespoon, put it in your mouth, swing the oil back and forth through your teeth for about 15-20 minutes, Make sure you spit out the oil into the toilet or a waste bin as it could block your drain pipes and cause a blockage once it turns solid.
